Utilizing Your Days to Harness Productive Energies

A while back my uncle’s wife sent me a reel on utilizing energies in our day to day. And since then I have been hooked! For the new year try to arrange a work week schedule that brings out more productivity. In our busy lives, it’s crucial to make the most of our time and energy. By understanding the energetic qualities associated with each day of the week, we can strategically plan our tasks and activities. In this blog post, I explain how different days of the week align with specific energies and how we can apply this knowledge to our work, workouts, and overall productivity. We’ll also discuss how this approach can benefit adult students, millennial moms and dads, and all millennials striving to maximize their days.

Monday – Moon Day:
Monday is associated with the moon, symbolizing nurturing, intuition, and emotional safety. It’s a perfect day to start the week by setting intentions, reflecting on personal goals, and prioritizing self-care. Millennial parents and working individuals can use this day to bond with their children, engage in creative activities, or plan family-oriented tasks. At work, focus on tasks that require emotional intelligence, such as brainstorming sessions or team-building exercises. I personally take Mondays to meditate, do low impact pilates, and set intentions for the rest of the week.

Tuesday – Mars Day:
Ruled by Mars, Tuesday carries an active warrior energy, promoting motivation and action. For millennials looking to harness their energy, this is an ideal day for high-intensity workouts like HIIT or full-body exercises. Tuesdays are my jam packed days as we are promoting action. All extrenuous workouts are done on Tuesday, and big projects for my small business are done on Tuesday at well. At work, tackle challenging projects, engage in problem-solving activities, and set aggressive goals. Adult students can utilize this day for studying complex subjects or tackling research-intensive assignments.

Wednesday – Mercury Day:
Wednesday is governed by Mercury, emphasizing communication and intellectual pursuits. It’s an opportune day for important meetings, networking, and responding to emails. As an adult student like myself or working millennial, use Wednesday to engage in productive discussions, collaborate with colleagues, and brainstorm new ideas. Consider scheduling brainstorming sessions or attending workshops or webinars to enhance your skills.

Thursday – Jupiter Day:
Jupiter rules Thursday, symbolizing expansion, growth, and abundance. Use this day to focus on long-term planning, strategic thinking, and setting ambitious goals. Millennials can allocate time for personal development, such as reading, attending seminars or webinars, or working on passion projects. At work, allocate time for brainstorming new strategies, creating business plans, or seeking out opportunities for growth. If any ideas come to me on a Thursday I immediately jot them down, to take action on Tuesday. (see what i did there)

Friday – Venus Day:
Friday is associated with Venus, emphasizing love, values, and attention to detail. This day is perfect for nurturing relationships, expressing gratitude, and focusing on self-care. Millennial moms and dads can use Fridays to spend quality time with their family, plan date nights, or engage in activities that bring them joy. At work, focus on tasks that require attention to detail, such as analyzing data, organizing files, or refining presentations. Because Friday is love day, I highly encourage date night or some kind of intimate bonding time with your significant other.

Saturday – Saturn Day:
Saturday is governed by Saturn, representing structure, discipline, and productivity. Use this day to tackle any pending tasks, complete household chores, or engage in activities that require focus and concentration. Do not make Sunday you’re cleaning day. It should be Saturday. All chores, practices, extracurricular activities, utilize the discipline and productivity Saturday brings to do these things. Millennials can allocate time for personal growth, self-reflection, or pursuing hobbies. Consider setting aside dedicated time for personal projects or organizing your living space.

Sunday – Sun Day:
Sunday is associated with the sun, highlighting vitality, creativity, and rejuvenation. Use this day to relax, recharge, and engage in activities that bring you joy. If cleaning brings you joy, so be it. But if it can get done on a Saturday then take today to chill out. It’s an excellent time for self-reflection, practicing mindfulness, or engaging in creative pursuits. Consider creating a workout routine that includes activities like yoga, meditation, or low-intensity exercises. Use this day to plan for the upcoming week, set intentions, and visualize your goals.

By understanding the energies associated with each day of the week, we can effectively plan our work schedules, workouts, and personal activities. This approach allows us to align our tasks with the corresponding energies and optimize our productivity and overall well-being. Whether you are like me an adult student, or a millennial mom or dad, or a busy working millennial, utilizing the energies of each day can help you make the most of your time and achieve your goals while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. So, start planning your days strategically and unlock your full potential!
